If you are a licensed health professional interested in donating your time and skills to the health and well-being of the underserved in San Diego County, we wholeheartedly welcome your participation. Some of our volunteer dentists come as often as once a week, while others come about once every few months. The majority of our volunteer faculty attends at the clinic once a month. We are appreciative of any commitment that you can make. All attendings at the Free Clinic Project must be or become members of the salaried or voluntary faculty of UCSD School of Medicine. If you would like to become a member of the voluntary faculty, or if you are already a member and would like to sign up or if you would like additional information, please contact Dr. Sussi Yamaguchi at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you would like to schedule a tour with our clinics or need to fill out any paperwork, please contact our Professional Volunteer Coordinator Nargiz Ismail-zade at email@example.com .
UCSD STUDENT-RUN FREE CLINIC VOLUNTEER DOCUMENTS
Please complete the application and submit it to Sonia Soto at one of our UCSD Pre-Dental Society meetings. You are required to complete a CPR class and a volunteer training session before turning in the volunteer application. If you have any questions regarding the application, please contact Sonia Soto at firstname.lastname@example.org. You do not have to be UCSD student to volunteer at our clinics, however you are not allowed to volunteer in clinic until you have been approved and have received proper training through the UCSD Student-Run Free Dental Clinics. We encourage that you attend our organizational meetings for more information about volunteering. Please review the checklist before submitting your application to Sonia Soto. Thank you.
FOR EXISTING VOLUNTEERS
You need to renew your paperwork annually. If you do not, then you will have to go through the entire volunteer application cycle once again. Please fill out all the following fields in the renewal form and sign and date where specified with an arrow. Thanks
